Yes that is what I mean. The ones I encountered had more then one color though and where slightly larger then a grain of sand. They never caused any real issues until they would restrict the function of the toilet. They did not damage any thing they just stopped the water flow.

Sounds like hard water to me, I used to get them in my camper toilet. They would collect in the last fitting and impede the water flow when you needed it most. It was a bummer removing toilet to get at the fitting to clean out, it would happen about every five years. So I started checking it...

How is your 90 horse mounted,straight to the transom I would bet. My kicker is mounted straight to the transom with no problems. You could use a light gauge metal strip if wanted but I see no need for it. Dan

You got it right digger, same information I get when ever I go. Talked to people that fished the entire month of August and they said that the middle of August was fantastic. We got fish everyday but it was work. Mostly small kings with nice coho and two halibuts.
