    06/06 - 06/08 - Annual Chesapeake Bay Gathering

Judie and I will be signing up for another trip in "Passages." The cruise down the Bay sounds great. Last year, Judie and I stopped in the Patuxent River anchoring out in a secluded spot way up at the end of St. Leonards Ck Sunday night prior to heading home up the Potomac the next day. Look...

    Water and fuel don't Mix

I'm glad to see this problem being addressed, although I most sympathize with others. Water in fuel has been a big problem for me all year in my second year of ownership of "Passages", CD 25 Cruiser. My fuel vents are exactly as pictured, and I've run through some pretty heavy seas this year...

    06/08 - 06/10 - Chesapeake Bay 2007

What a great weekend for Judie and me. Thanks to all who worked so hard on organizing, preparing, performing and "herding". All your hard work made it all so enjoyable for us. Very nice to be able to put faces, people and boats to the names. We made it home safe and sound in "Passages" after...

    06/08 - 06/10 - Chesapeake Bay 2007

Judie and I plan to be there in "Passages". Have marina reservations for Fri and Sat nights. Only hitch is our "ship" still is in the shop. Went in in late march for 200 hr svc; was supposed to be out mid April just when the Honda engine recall hit. Hope we see ya'll.

    06/08 - 06/10 - Chesapeake Bay 2007

Judie and I will put it on the calendar and hope to join you all in "Passages". We chickened out halfway there due to weather last year. Hopefully, things will be better this year in the weather department. Our friends, Gary and Mary Palsgrove have replaced their CD 25 that was destroyed in...

How much Fuel Do You Have????

I launched my new CD 25, and the first thing I noticed was that the gas gage didn't work. A trip back to Cutter Marine plus some helpful discussions with their mechanic revealed what many already have mentioned; all gas tanks have "features", and mine is no exception. My metal tank is very...

    06/02 - 06/04 - Lankford Bay Marina, Eastern Shore

At this moment, we should be up at Lankford Marina meeting many of you at this long awaited event. Instead, we are back home "thinking about it." The Palsgroves in "C-Rapture and Judie and I in "Passages left home on schedule yesterday and, after a very rough sleighride up the Bay, we...

    06/02 - 06/04 - Lankford Bay Marina, Eastern Shore

Charlie and Sally, Judie and I are ready to shove off from the Lower Machodoc, thursday around 1300 hrs. Will be linking up with Gary Palsgrove in "C-Rapture" near Ragged Pt, and make the 4 hr voyage to Little Choptank where we'll anchor somewhere in Hudson's creek for the night. Will reach...

    06/02 - 06/04 - Lankford Bay Marina, Eastern Shore

I've made my slip reservations as well. It was easy. Now, waiting for better weather to get the new boat unwrapped, out of my driveway and into the boat house. It's tough waiting.

    06/02 - 06/04 - Lankford Bay Marina, Eastern Shore

It's on our calendar. Looking forward to it and to meeting so many of you. Our brand new CD-25 cruiser "Passages" still sits in our driveway, shrinkwrapped, where it's been since delivery on 12 DEC. It will go into my boathouse as soon as the threat of ice is over. We're not far from Charlie...

    Here we go again

I'm the friend that Gary Palsgrove refers to earlier. I'd echo his favorable impression. I had one "glitch", but I don't think it had anything to with Cutter Marine. My CD 25 was supposed to be built in October and delivered in November. Evidently, there were "production problems" at the...

    insurance rates/policy

From what I've read here, plus based on my own experience, I'm glad I chose Progressive for my new CD 25. For example, Boat US had a dramatically increased deductible ( from $500 to $4000) for what they call "named storms". (e.g., hurricanes). Progressive doesn't do "named storms." Do the math.

Mike, Bill and Tom (Otter) We've been lurking here for sometime since contemplating (then actually buying) a CD 25. This has been and is a great site, and we look forward to participating more actively after our new little "ship" literally comes in . We're expecting delivery of our new CD...
