Many folks use the Friday Harbor C-Brats get together as a starting point to head further north for the Summer in a group. As time draws near, plans just seem to come together for further planning. In early January, 2025, look for a new post for the 2025 Friday Harbor gathering event.

SurfDory, looked at your FB link numbers for fuel economy. Do you have a number for fuel economy at 1500 rpm? I would think that your fuel economy mpg would be quite a bit higher at an even slower speed. Being able to slowboat and save fuel is a great benefit of owning a C-Dory!

Colby, could other C-Brats join in with you if interested? This could be a C-Dory flotilla.

Another thought with a single is thinking about the need to have a 'get me home motor' (kicker) if the main were to hit something and become disabled. The extra weight of twins could be a wash when a kicker motor is also installed on the transom. Although, if both twins were ever disabled, that...
