    Where to Post?

The captions tell the story. My dilemma is where to post. Since the loss of the 25 last fall, I found the boat I was meant to have, but it’s a Marinaut 215. My c-brat friends welcomed the little boat into the ranks, but posts in the Marinaut section are at least a decade old… With such small...

  5. huge plus is that I didn?t need to cut and insert clear windows with all the extra framing, zippers, screens, and LOTS of extra sewing... simple is the watchword for this particular endeavor? less working and more playing on this boat

  6. Thanks to John and Eileen Highsmith of Cat-O-Mine for making me aware of PFIFERTEX a vinyl woven material for an enclosure that is so much more practical for those of us who live on the Gulf Coast... it breathes and repels most of the water while keeping bugs out.

    Removable Alaska bulkhead?

Removing bulkhead depends upon use. I just completed making the rear enclosure for my Marinaut. It’s great for summertime family & friends daysailing. However, for cruising it can’t be taken along as an option, so for staying in marinas or town docks for touring towns and restaurants, it...

MARINAUT - CUSTOM COCKPIT ANCHOR MOUNT

Not sure this will be seen as it's in the Marinaut section, the captions tell the story, so I would be glad to hear what Y'all think... there are so few Marinauts (9 ?) that most of the posts are a decade old. My favorite friends I've made have been the C-Dory people... they said they would...

    Adding 110 AC to Marinaut

Good observation… heat is a consideration… especially for those of us who live here in the sweltering tropics. Even when pushed all the way starboard, the hull angles away to stern and upwards so there is room for convection. I will keep an eye on it moving forward… haven’t had the opportunity...
