too tall for my garage door

Let me clarify-- I do NOT recommend cutting into the header over the door. The header is a major structural component and the size is regulated by the Building Code. Did this actually happen? Yes! Would I do it? No. What do I do for work? I'm a Construction Inspector.

too tall for my garage door

You could do like someone else did--- shave a few inches off the header over the garage door opening to allow the boat to fit.

    Wallas exaust water leak

I used Pro Seal Black RTV Silicone Sealant, low volatile formula. It doesn't take much- a small tube 3 oz. tube was more than enough. Roger

    Wallas exaust water leak

I, also, had the water leaking at the exhaust/hull connection. I removed the through hull, cleaned it and used high temp gasket sealer inside and outside of the connection. I coated the inside of the flex tube with the high temp sealer. No more trouble with water getting in at that location.

Ken- Unless something else comes up, it looks like I may be here for a few more months- couple years. I was able to go out for tuna with a friend in Coos Bay- 7 tuna and a tub of crab.

    2015 Columbia river fall chinook

I am in Corvallis, Oregon (sans boat) working on a project. I have some fishing gear- mostly set for trolling in the salt. I do most of my fishing in the ocean and don't have much experience river fishing. I would like to get out for some salmon if I could "boat ho" with someone. 805-680-0105...

Black would be hot on a sunny summer day, I tend to go barefoot during the warm months. Looks nice though.

New Owner and 2004 22 Cruiser purchase

I would say you got a decent deal. They make an operable window for the door that I would recommend at a later date. That way you get better cross ventilation inside the cabin during the summer months. Congrats and welcome to the family,

    Portholes

The portholes I installed on C-Hawk are made by Lewmar. They come with screens- but the dogs don't like them and will push them out. They have powder coated aluminum frames.
