Any thoughts on the 40' Pacific Trawlers.

After reading everyones posts I too would add the Tom Cat 255. One it has two fish lockers. Both the 22&25 do not. You can also have four people fish on the back deck. The ride on the TC can handle the chop without the pounding. You could sleep 4 adults. Two in the v-berth, one on the table...

The splash well is 8-12 inches longer from the transom making the back deck smaller.

The back deck is smaller on the 05 :(

Don't see the savings in steak and micro beers? Maybe I'm missing somthing here. Enjoy:-)

Has anyone installed oars yet? Add a seat on the back deck and row. This might be an option in lowering you fuel costs.:lol:

There is a couple that we meet in Homer in 91-92 that had the factory add storage compartments on the roof above the door. They also had a fiberglass hard lid incorporated above the back deck. Very useable space as we all know is a premium.

We run the stock set-up and would like improve efficiency. Average 1.9 - 2 mpg on average at 16-18 mph anyone with twinns tried different options?? Thanks, Mark

All theory's a side it works in cold weather and cold water that's all I have to say

I would recommend painting it on as it is a lot less messy. We used a 4" disposable brush. Don't have the drips as mentioned earlier and works all the same. Know of three boats sprayed on and one painted including second coat on mine by painting. Have not noticed a noise reduction but the...

I just installed a Blue Sea Analog DC Voltmeter for better battery management. My question is it has a amperage draw of one (1) Milliampere. Our boat does not have shore power in the summer. Will this be a concern if the boat sits for over a week?
