    CD WAX

I'm a Collinite man too. I use their liquid although it's more like a runny paste to me. Takes a bit to get it off but it does leave a tough coating that lasts the whole summer season so I get to boat instead of clean. I like that. Tim

    04/01 - 04/03 Cathlamet, WA

SO WHAT DID YOU DO WITH OR ON YOUR C-DORY TODAY??

B~C, Better be kind to old Mike. Raven Dave was by today to look at our tile job and we were looking over the boat and discussing the effort of washing and waxing this week-end and he said " Ya, that's what I was doing the day before I had my heart attack last year". May have to let the boat...

SO WHAT DID YOU DO WITH OR ON YOUR C-DORY TODAY??

Pat, That sounds like a great way to spend a Sunday, Bloody Ceasars and shell fish picking is OK in my book even without a boat. Haven't herd from TyBoo Mike but my guess is since he has a 25' C-Dory that he may still be waxing that bloody big monster. Just got done with everything on the...

SO WHAT DID YOU DO WITH OR ON YOUR C-DORY TODAY??

Almost feel like we have a new boat. Washed off a winters worth of scum and algae growth from being outside under the alders. Amazing what a little soap and water plus elbow grease will do. I do feel somewhat guilty though since I didn't share. Four poor souls up north having boat withdrawls...

SO WHAT DID YOU DO WITH OR ON YOUR C-DORY TODAY??

I guess it must be an upper left edge thing cause I'm just behind TyBoo Mike. Got the Lynn Marie out from under the carport and into the driveway this afternoon for the annual spring cleaning before the season starts. Next stop will be Cathlamet for the springers and the start of boating season...

SO WHAT DID YOU DO WITH OR ON YOUR C-DORY TODAY??

Finally finished up the refit and got the new "Baystar" hydraulic steering system installed. Judy helped get it charged up so we're now ready to head to Cathlamet. That is if I get the boat washed and waxed with all the gear loaded back aboard. Tim

    Outfitting a 25

Fred, This may be a dumb question but, what in the world are you worrying about props size for when you're getting the boat from Les and E.Q. and they are going to be the ones outfitting it for you? Tim

    Door Window Recommendations?

Mike is right about Diamond SeaGlaze. I spoke with them last fall about just such a window for the door on the Lynn Marie and they said they could make a slider and that it would be the top half that dropped down. Never did ask about the price or move ahead with the project so I can't help more...

    Pain free insulation solution

Ken, Looks to me like you need to spray that stuff on. Will any type equipment work or do you need something special that will work on a high viscosity material. Tim

Carpeting interior for moisture, heat, and sound control

Greg, Stick with the C-Dory. I have ridden both and as I remember they were not as quit or as dry. The noise factor comes from only being on their flat bottom model and I think the wet is there because the laps are so much thinner than our C-Dories. I've had, fished, and built a bunch of dories...

    Anita Marie Moving On Up!

Well Fred and Robin, If Nordic Tug is true then you may not want to trailer down for the Sturgeon Festival and if that's the case I'll save a spot for yas on the Lynn Marie. That's if you're still willing to drink beer on a little boat that only has a porta-potti. Tim

    06/18 - 06/19 - Lower Columbia Sturgeon Fest

Helen O Larry, I think the luck of the Irish has landed and you have a winner for a week-end. If we can get Mike to yea, nea, or post a signup thread we'll be on our way and we can get ahold of Keith at the marina to see about space for everyone. The rest would be up to B~C and the smelt kids...

    06/18 - 06/19 - Lower Columbia Sturgeon Fest

Helen O Larry, You're forgetting the most important player/players on this lower river team, Raven Dave and maybe even his brother Heron Chuck. They don't get on here and say much but you can bet they'll be at the dock and out on the flats dishing out a little bit of their river learnin of...

    06/18 - 06/19 - Lower Columbia Sturgeon Fest

Not that it makes a big difference to the final outcome but I will be gone the first week of June on an annual trout trip to British Columbia and won't return till Sunday the 5th. After that I am around for the balance of the season. I would like to be here to help host the gathering, mooch some...

    C-Dory at Miami Boat Show!

TJ and Jenn, Glad to hear you had a great time at the Miami show and even happier to hear about your adventure on a C-Dory. My last experience was in the early 80"s when I was building boats with my brother and we had our newest model in the show. It was a 27' New England stile lobster boat...

SO WHAT DID YOU DO WITH OR ON YOUR C-DORY TODAY??

Getting ready to change from mechanical steering to hydraulic and today I pulled out the old cable, wheel, and head. I'll bet the new stuff goes in back a lot easier than this came out or at least I hope it does. I'm putting in a Baystar system that I bought from Fore and Aft Marine out of...
