Carpeting interior for moisture, heat, and sound control

Mac, Glad to hear you finally finished up your berth project. I'll bet it feels good to have it in and ready for the next round of boating. You'll be amazed at the difference in warmth and sound up forward and I'd venture a guess Linda will enjoy it too. But, you may not be done with all your...

    Daydream is SOLD Too

WOW, That's amazing that both sold the same day. You guys must have started out connected at the hip or something. Maybe like Davito & Swartsnager, twins. Anyway it's exciting that this part of your deal is over and now it's only the tough part, waiting. Congratulations Pat & Patti,

    Anna Leigh is SOLD

Geez, Congratulations twice this week. Cool! I'm happy for both you and the new owners. I do have one question though and that is how many fish bonkers do you plan on needing to whittle out to make up for not having a boat, or are you set up to make some new shelf goodies, racks, etc. to have...

    New TomCat 25

Looks to me like it's time to get this post back up to the top and maybe someone will chime in here about when the first 25' Tom Cat will hit the streets. Tim

SO WHAT DID YOU DO WITH OR ON YOUR C-DORY TODAY??

Congratulations Kate and Dave on your 25 years! I'm not sure I like this foot per year stuff though, since that means we'd be selling the Lynn Marie and getting out the 8' "Walker Bay" from under the deck. Can't even upgrade to the 10' for another year. Tim

    bottom paint

I'll chime in here with the others and say let the pros do it. Having some boat building background I do know that get all the mold ralease/wax off is very, and I mean very, important. The next big issue is the primer and that is assuming you're not sanding the complete area to be painted. This...

    Valentine's Brats Wishes...

Mike, I knew that would be a dandy picture. A fine bunch of C-Munchcans they do make. Happy Valentines Day it is. Tim

    Autopilots and hydraulic steering

Ya know Mike, I think a picture of you in the gussy up suit would be just fine for the C-Brat site, as long as the photo also contains the Sturgeon Queen and her court. Besides, it may reveal your non-brat side.

    Autopilots and hydraulic steering

Thanks Dusty for taken the time to look after me. It's like all those posts on your Birthday thread keep saying, you just keep giving. Thanks so much for all your time and wisdom.

    Autopilots and hydraulic steering

The cable on the Lynn Marie has always been OK but only with lots of upkeep and it's still not a great steering system and not one I'd add an autopilot to so I have a few questions to through out. While the Baystar system is big enough for the boat, will it except an autopilot? If it will can...

    Dusty's 85th Birthday is Today!!!

Dusty, Happy B-Day! That's one better than a C-Day which I know you are also looking forward to, and I hear it will be in my favorite color, green.

    04/01 - 04/03 Cathlamet, WA

Saw an article in the local news paper saying that the little Westprot Ferry will be down for a couple of weeks in March. I know that some of us Oregonian types have taken it to get to Cathlamet so we'll hope it's up and running by the gathering. Maybe Larry will give us an update as time gets...

    Bruce or Delta anchor

Amen brother. I did put the fairlead roller in right after the rope jumped out of the windlass the first time. I knew I didn't want to see the second time. What I installed was the "Windline" AR-4 which can be found in the West Marine catalog in their anchor roller section. It works great. Tim

    Teachers?

While I don't consider myself in the teaching profession I have done lots of classes for continuing education requirements for folks in the building trades. To do that I've had to get approval to do so through the local community college as well as the states Building Codes Division. I guess...

SO WHAT DID YOU DO WITH OR ON YOUR C-DORY TODAY??

After getting the tax stuff ready for the accountant, I was able to get the carpet up on the overhead. I had it cut in three pieces. Two side sections and one big chunk for the center raised section. The side pieces weren't bad to put up but trying to line up and get right a 4' X 7' floppy piece...

SO WHAT DID YOU DO WITH OR ON YOUR C-DORY TODAY??

So far I haven't gotten a thing done on our boat but I did get by and check out the work Mike is doing on the TyBoo. After seeing the things Mike has done the small factory installed words "Cruise Ship" really have some meaning. There are more new wood goodies in there than on a Nordic Tug, and...

    HONDA JET DRIVES!!!

D5800#^%$@, Don't feel bad about getting shot down for thinking jets. I was wondering what a new Tom Cat set up with a pair of 175hp Mercury Sportjets , which weigh in at 305# engine and pump, would be like. Was told they might be kind of loud and not very fuel efficient. Don't care cause I may...

    C-Dory 16 Trailer Length

Oh My, Now this thread has deteriorated too. It's hard to believe that the other one was an "Upgrade" when we were invisioning Brock in a thong. And now this one is down to. Brock is just going to have to shed the thing to get us through this. Tim
