Anchor (black ball) displayed for day use?

Speaking of LED anchor lights. I out one of those OWL LED anchor lights from the guy in Fiji. There is a thread on here some where about them. I'm pretty sure this is also what SeaSpray(Steve) has. That sucker is bright but does not reflect off of anything on the boat and so does not create...

Anchor (black ball) displayed for day use?

I think that the "where other vessels normally navigate" would negate the exception in most cases. Around here, the only commercial vessels I've seen use a ball is a dredge. I've never used one of the balls and I've never seen a pleasure craft use one but I have thought about some hard a$$...

    Pictures with big, black bars

Try running a registery cleaner. I found out about this free one from a RV group that I'm on. It is free and has 5 start reviews. http://ccleanerdownload.org/tv/clean/?g ... DQodskTl_A It is very simple to use. So even us brain dead can do it. The first time I ran it it removed like 2,000...

Advice on Cleaning Exhaust Fume Stains

The answer may be the same as what I put here http://www.c-brats.com/viewtopic.php?t=11901 When I had my twin diesel charter boat the stern would soot up from the black fumes. I would spray on some phosphoric acid and let it sit for awhile. Then a little elbo grease with a bursh and the...

    Rust & Blood Stains

phosphoric acid is the answer. I've used it on my boats for years to remove the stains from dirty water and rust stains. Just spray some on and lets it sit for five min and wash it off. Stain gone. The expensive version is Ospho(sp). I can get a whole gal from a local guy $9. I've seen it...

    V700 Windlass Wiring Puzzle

One suggestion. Place a quick disconnect close to the motor. I have had mine jam the rode so hard that I had to lift the windless to be able to pry it loose. Being able to disconnect the power wire helps. Roger

    KeelShield

I installed the Keel Guard on the CD22 before it ever left Wefings for the first time. That was just about one year ago. I like it, however, it is delaminating as you can see from the pictures. The full set are in C-Lover album. I do no have rollers. I can understand the delamination at the...

Short answer. YES I have 22 and not the 25 but it has made a huge difference on the 22. Like most people I now use the trim tabs for left/right leveling. Buy it you'll be happy.

    Side Scanning Sonar

About 15 years ago a became a dealer for a company that had started making side scan at a reasonable price (about $1,500 at the time). That was when the only other units were about 10k. This one had a foot that you mounted on the back of the boat and lowered when you wanted to use it. The max...

    Need a ride on a 19 angler

Hi Ben, I went the CD 16, 19, 22 route. I went to Wefings with money in hand to buy the CD 16. During sea trial the wife said "you have to get a bigger boat" I wasn't going to pass up on that offer so ended up with the CD19. For me the CD16 was fine but it is a 16 foot boat. The stabltity...
