I have found that the finnicky behavior is related to the quality of the gps signal. It must have a solid 3D lock. I have gone to a high sensitive gps with external antenna and the S1000 loves it. It may or may not work with only a 2D signal.

Who's going to have to pay? Dealer or new owner. Was it a completed deal? Is it still the dealers until delivered? I would guess if the papers were signed, the new owner gets the claim.

Thanks for reminding me why I don't have Raymarine chartploter etc. I do have the S1000 and it works well although it does have it's "raymarine moments"

I know and I don't think I'm going to be able to make it out again. Friday I'm going to have surgery on my shoulder. Then the Doc does not want me to even drive a car for two months. Now that I think about it he didn't say I couldn't drive a boat :)

Roland wasn't there so I was not able to talk to him and ask about the canvas part.

Went by the welding shop today and Joe was hard at it working on Dave's canvas frame. He said he would have it on the boat by the end of the day. He said there is about a 4 inch difference in the 23 and the 22. I will go back later in the week for more pictures.

I had a 75 Yamaha on my 19. It did fine. Put the 60 on with a permatrim and you will be fine. You'll love it wjen you go to the gas pump.

That's putting it mildly. With the 115 I was able to get mine to 32 one time. Dang near lost it. Never again will I ever get it over 30. 28 is about the most I feel is safe. Even then it has to glass slick.
