I'm not sure what transducer he used in-hull, but I just ordered a 1,000 watt in-hull Airmar M135M. I'll hopefully get it installed this weekend and get you some images.

I finally installed a Simrad autopilot system including AP44 control head at the forward helm and an OP12 control head at the aft helm. Haven't commissioned it yet, but I wanted to share this 3D printed control head box I made for the AP44 controller.

Very true. Lots of states are on to this, especially Washington. That's when you pull out the receipts stating you only bought the hull. The engines, electronics, cushions, etc did not come with the boat. And, I believe I mentioned, you must be fully prepared just to walk out and try somewhere...
