    Bulkhead removal on older 16

Pat, You have a custom fit dash that was removed by Dave. With another cut or two you could be set. It could be done so you can remove and replace it easily. JT F/V "Palomino" :thup

    Window Removal and frame repainting

The front windows on my 16' angler are aluminum, no paint. It is your call if removing them is necessary. Not much help. But hey it's a reply anyway. If you remove them take some pictures to post! JT...

    Bulkhead removal on older 16

Nice job. I like that. I have thought of doing the same thing on my 16' angler. I currently have the passenger seat out and may replace it with the Garelick Jumpseat that folds up. A berth is certainly an option on the angler with this modification. The removal could be reversible , too...

    Frequent Sea's adventures

Well, Van Horn Texas may not be up to Wild Blue Jims standards but my grandparents liked it well enough for many years and so do the hard working town folk there. I guess a cheap shot is easier than educating oneself about an area that may be different from what we know...

    My First Experience with MarineTex

Pat, I filled the holes where my passenger seat was screwed down with JB weld. It's an easy mixing epoxy and has worked great. It does sound like that may have been an old batch, I mixed some up today and it was pliable before adding catalyst. More so after mixing. I use a flat surface for...

    Possibilities of core saturation?

I just removed the teak strips between my gas tanks on the "Palomino' a 1987 16' angler. Looks like the first time they have been off . Happy to report dry as a bone. I will be reaming them out a bit and epoxying after refinish. JT :thup

Anybody know this C-Dory (Homer, AK)

If you can go, GO! Check it out. He may think you are another lookie Loo, not a serious buyer. The ad states 70 hours on the engine. (newer) You'll be wondering if you let your boat float away.(IMHO) Good luck...
