Need wiring info for fluxgate compass

Our compass is connected to the Raymarine autopilot course computer that is connected to our C80. I believe that the terminals are labeled as to where it hooks in. Also, The Raymarine forum has lots of good info on it. It is no longer open to new questions, but there is plenty of archived info...

    8 HP kicker on 22’ Cruiser - What’s your set-up?

We have a Honda 8 hp on our 22 . I love the electric start. It is mounted directly to the transom and has a removable tie bar that hooks to main motor. The tie bar is the only way to go. It allows you to steer from the cabin. If you need it for emergency motor, you will not want to be steering...

    Princess Louisa Cruise Help

We went up to Louisa the summer before covid hit. We opted for the western route crossing Georgia strait from Nanaimo. Another good thing about taking this route is that you can sit and wait for the right weather window at Newcastle Island marine park. There are plenty of well protected bouys to...

Installing male "screw type" snaps to hull

For your application you might want to think about trying these https://www.sailrite.com/YKK-SNAD-White ... -Base-Stud They stick to fiberglass very well and can be removed. Easy application, if you do happen to lose one another can be reapplied easily

Is This Thinking TOO FAR Out of the BOX

On our boat I installed a Garmin Stryker 7SV stand alone sonar/fishfinder. It gives much better feed back than the Raymarine DSM300 and Airmar PS66 combo that was origionally installed on our boat. This also gives redundancy for Sonar in case one of the systems fail. I like having the sonar on...

Is This Thinking TOO FAR Out of the BOX

In situations where you are doing 3 knt and looking for obstacles could you shut off and possibly lift the starboard motor to cut down on turbulence and provide a clear view for the transducer?

    2022 C-Brats Calendar NOW Available!

We got ours yesterday. Very Nice. Thanks to all for getting it together.
  8. Kitchen stuff all goes under front passenger seat. These seats can be easily removed to convert back to original seating if we wanted to have the convertible bed, but we have no need for that and find this configuration much more convenient.

  9. Rear seat storage. I removed shelf above water tank to open up more room. We keep soft items here and has a fair amount of space above tank.

Upgrading from Raymarine C Series to Axium ???

Yes , thanks Peter and Judy from us also. That was very informative and answered many questions for me. We will either have to stick with what we have or get both the Raydome and Plotter at the same time. That plotter looks really nice though. I might have to shake out my piggy bank.

Upgrading from Raymarine C Series to Axium ???

I too have been contemplating upgrading some electronics. We have Raymarine C80 with Navionics, Radar and older auto pilot. We have a Garmin stand alone Depth sounder/fish finder that works very well. Also a Samsung Tab 10A android tablet with Navionics subscription. The thing I would like to...

Honda 90 (carb) starting tips needed

On our 2004 carbed BF 90A with Binnacle control the choke was operated by pushing in on the ignition key. Push in while cranking for choke. Once it fires off, tap it a couple more times to keep it running until it is warm enough to run on it's own.

    Need help with dinghy rack.

I got some SS Allen head bolts that are longer than what comes with the riser from McMaster Carr. I used CVG Fir 2x2 and counter sunk them so the bolt and nut would not protrude. I even drilled some drain holes so that water would not collect in the countersunk holes. I painted the wood with...
