Our troubles are a bit more prosaic than those of the Daydream and Salty crews; The "mild sinus irritation" I've been fighting all week has become a full-blown head cold. I'm going to take it easy at home this morning, and depending on how I feel, we may head out later today, or early Saturday.

We'll trailer up to Cornet Bay from Seattle late Friday morning, and hopefully launch a bit after noon.

Two Lucky Fish +1 will be there. We plan to attend the dinner Friday, so that means two adults and two big kids, "plus one" Tristan who won't eat much. Also, on Saturday and Sunday mornings, I'll be testing my brand new 99-cent pot skirt. Should be interesting...

I have this, and I've never had a watery fuel problem. On the other hand, maybe I've just been lucky! Quick question: How do you know when you've got WATER and not FUEL in the see-through bowl? Thanks!

Took the boat out yesterday, and HEY the pinging/rattling/knocking sound is gone! Will my J-B Weld HighTemp patch hold up? I seriously doubt it. No matter, I've got the new Oil Pan component arriving today. Got a freshwater-only used one off eBay for $200! I'll wait until after Friday Harbor...

Let me correct/clarify this. SAME price, not cheaper, but extra year of warranty coverage. That's worth spending $5 on a pair of zinc post adapters.

Corrosion is specifically NOT covered under warranty. "Dissimilar metals" could legitimately be called a design or manufacturing flaw, and apparently has been on the issue with the sensor port in the engine holder; the fact that they changed the design suggests that there was something...you...
