    C-Dory Capsizing Part 2

I'm kinda late to comment, but Laurie and I have experienced things like Byant has, more so when we had the '22. The bottom line was that we were in the RIGHT boat to handle it. We probably wouldn't be here if not in our C-Dory.

    What is this?

Looked at all the photos. Some small things might be C-Dory like ,but over all it doesn't seem to be an iteration of the " modern" i.e. SBS 1979 era C-Dory. The hull number and info plate on the boat would help clear it up too I think. Dave and Ben would have the skinny on it I bet.

    Big Red Truck

Good Call Roger, Now there is a Red Tundra to go with our White Tundra that Laurie and I got this Spring. Ours is the same setup as yours. As for towing our 25, it does a great job, power wise and great braking power also. It handles the boat better than our '97 f250 did.

    C-Dory Sightings

Last night about 2200 hrs... I caught up with the Rock-C Crew, Terry, Anne and Chloe just north of Vancouver Wa... They figured it was me ,since not many other FedEx Freight Rigs honk and tell 'em to pull over for a chat. They were heading home from the big Cruise to Nanaimo, etc.

    New Tundras and CD-25's

We were looking for a replacemnet for our '97 F250 4x4 w/460 engine. When it came down to signing on the..... line,we got a new 2008 Tundra 4x4 Limited and and others have said, it pulls our 25 C-Dory and also our 26' Travel Trailer like it isn't even there. So far we love it. The big test...

    Buyer beware!

Update on our MSO. We now have an MSO for our AMI RIB. AMI stepped up and cleaned up a problem from the previous regime. Big Thank You to AMI, Jeffrey Reynolds and Samantha Saunders. I would recommend that anyone looking for a state of the art inflatable give them a good look. They don't make...

    Buyer beware!

We also got our RIB without an MSO...bad thing.. lesson learned . We bought it from a gentleman that worked at the Boatnut Place in Everett. It is a 310 RIB model made by AMI, Advanced Marine Inflatables. We were as promised an MSO, but it hasn't happened ....yet. There may be a solution coming...

Jim and Yugi, We would like to thank you very much for your hosting us at your wonderful home base at Indian Cove. The warmth of the C-Brats and your hospitality made the weekend a lot warmer than the snow and temperatures indicated. Jim & Laurie

    Very cool old boats.

I'm not sure about this year, but in the past couple years Fiberglassics has brought some of those beauties to the Tacoma Dome Boat Show held in late March early April. Very cool.

Love that Google , everyone needs to Google extensively. Laurie's small portfolio needs the help. Marty, that google map thing that shows the piture of the house is pretty cool.. I looked at ours, and it is very recent picture too.

    01/23 - 01/25 - Seattle Boat Show/C-Brat Convention

Matt , How about the 25 I have seen a the Olympic Boat Center liquidation place in Fife? It looks like a new one , no motors or registration numbers. Not sure how they would end up with a new C-Dory in that mess, but bet you could get a "deal", a "deal" said with my tongue firmly set in cheek.

upgrade older 22' cruiser w/ forward facing first mate seat

Yep ,Tyboo Mike Barber is the one who engineered and perfected the "Barber Chair". The only thing about it that teed me off was that C-Dory did not publicly and comprehensively give him just credit for doing it. Mike did many many things to improve his 22'. He is the Edison of C-Dory's.
