Thanks to all for your ideas. Seems like a small little problem --I suspect the irremovable hinge is one of my excuses for procrastinating about cutting out the hole for the fridge! Yes, I'm quite impressed by the help I'm getting on the site. I've been on here for several years and seeing...

I haven't done much posting here -- will try to put a picture up later. The hinges are solid -- always figure I'm missing something when I'm at the point of forcing a solution.

I need to remove the cabinet door under the helmsman's seat to install my Norcold fridge. The hinges have no visible fasteners on the outside -- only 3 small holes on the inside -- looks like each hinge must have 3 prongs which have been driven into those holes and maybe glued into place. Can't...

Thanks for the photos Robert. That will be helpful as I get ready to cut. Did you build a platform for the unit to rest on? Have you been satisfied with the performance of the unit?

I'm planning to install a 2 cubic foot Norcold refrigerator on my 2008 22 Cruiser. I'd appreciate seeing photos or ideas from anyone who has done that before I get started on the project. Thanks, Joe
