Starcraft when I mentioned earlier that the cost of the boat wasn't really the issue I was talking Rangers and TomCats not the Sheiks dingy!!

Jim you are preaching to the choir as far as my wife hearing all of those points from yours truly. I am still working on her and persistence has paid off in the past and she and I have already learned the hard way that doing something we don't like to make the other happy doesnt work for...

Bling is limitless to some folks and thank goodness my wife isnt one of them. One of the things she is hard over on is a washer and dryer!! And she really just cant see herself in anything less than 40 feet right now. I am working on her with little success. She has already suggested that I...

    Cutwater in Bellingham

The budget for me is not the issue. The issue is my wife wants a lot more bling than a trailerable boat can hold. We are currently agreeing to disagree and I am sure at some point we will reach a compromise or .............. I'm really going to miss her

All very nice boats. Very good comments about the boats and individual selection process. I have been seriously shopping for either a C-dory, Osprey, Parker, or Ranger for months now and can not convince my wife that she would be happy cruising on any of them. She is convinced they are all too...

The wood deck is very nice. Any thoughts on how to do that and keep it nice looking with minimal effort?

    Best outriggers for a Tomcat

I have trolled up to eight rods fishing for striped bass on the left coast and on large lakes here in the east. Don't stop the boat when you get hooked up and let the fish fight backwards so it clears the other lines and then work it in. something that you may want to consider is a big jon...

I currently have three to four footitis and the Ospreys are one boat I am considering. I would love to hear everything that you have to say about yours, things to look out for, options you wish you had bought, options you wish you had not etc.

    Towing position for Honda 90

when my Honda is up and the motor toter is in place it is only for transit to and from the ramp, longest road trips have been 4 or 5 hours. I have to agree with the earlier posts that I would rather have the hydraulics blow than have to replace the lower unit. when the boat is parked at home the...

    Towing position for Honda 90

raising the boat on my trailer would not be a good idea because it would make it so I had to back further down boat ramps. Some of the ramps I like to use are pretty short and I would hate to go off the end of them.
