Thanks Les, that makes more sense to me. I found it hard to believe that this style of tach supported some kind of 12 cylinder motor! Okay to finalize, the BF90 has a 4 pole alternator and the switch setting on the back of the tach should be set accordingly. Now can't wait for my next trip...
