I put mine on the transom. The previous owner already had a thru hull fitting there about 4" higher & about 6 or 7 " to the left of the drain plug. He had his pump for a live bait tank there. It's up off the deck & out of the way there & I ran the sprayer hose up into the port lazerette. Works...
I hereby nominate Localboy for president !! It should be a nationwide misdemeanor offense to be found with anything smaller than a 38 special on ones person at all times. The blood would run in the streets for a few years but everyone left would be saying please and thank you & there would no...
New brake actuator, all new brake lines, new idler hubs, all stainless steel kodiak disk brakes, all new trailer wireing & all new led trailer lights. They are indeed a hole in the water but I love her! Vern
I guess I can consider myself lucky then. In my neighborhood we have mountain lions that patrol at night, that keep the feral cat population at near zero. Had a squirrel once or twice in the boat but at least they are not that destructive. .22 cb caps with a suppressor tube worked very well on...
I hate team sports! There all grossly over paid criminals, they never call, they never come by,never write, were not related! Never once even a birthday card. I knew everybody on the high school football team ! Who gives a rats ass!! Vern
Thank you for the responses boys, I lowered both motors, put a light between them & swaddled them like newborn babies. That should do it. I wasn't sure if there would still be nooks & crannies in them that would still harbor pockets of water.
Hi kids. I'm wondering, do any of you boys use the salt away engine wash out system to introduce anti-freeze into the water jacket of your outboard motors in preparation for freezing weather or winter storage in colder areas? Or is there another method? Vern
Thank you Chromer, that sure is a fine lookin boat you have there!! I must admit, in a moment of weakness, I have been known to lust for the extra room aft on the 22 angler, but I'm happy as a clam!!!
I have friends with 16s & 22s. I wouldn't trade my 19 for either. The 16 is like shoes that are too tight & the 22 is wasted unused space unless you are using your boat as camper. vern
I have lowrance sounder and plotter. Had lots of trouble with the sounder until I found a crack in the transducer, good now but while hunting for the problem I read that the power is always on & the manual said that in a salt water environment could cause corrosion in the plugs.
BEER ? Redtail ale. For a special treat, Hoppegeddon, made by the Napa Smith Brewing Co. in St. Helena in the Napa valley. Now... For the REAL joke!! Obama & the remnants of the state of the union. Definitely not a HA Ha joke!!
Hi kids ! What's the general consensus on ss rotors? Reading past threads I read that ss is soft & folks say they tend to warp & score. Planning a winter brake overhaul from rusty drums to ss kodiak disk. Wondering if I should go with the plated rotors over solid ss. Only tow about 35 miles a...
Been known to get a little whackey myself on occasion! Apologized the next day for losing my composure at the launch ramp. It can be a little trying sometimes.I'll stop there and push the "LIKE" button on the Midol! This is the Wild Nordic Stallion signing off now
I switched from cable to hydraulic. The cable was more responsive in that it took 3 1/2 turns stop to stop but was a lot harder to turn & gave quite a workout. I put a suicide knob on my wheel that makes turning much easier & I can turn with one hand. I'd never go back. Vern
I have never weighed my 19 but did make an itemized guesstimation.
