We have a 2006 25' C-Dory. I am in the process of installing a new am/fm radio and am not sure where a good place to ground it would be. I'm not an electrician by any strech of the imagination however I do know if you don't get the ground right it's not going to work. Any suggestions/advise...

Bob, thanks for the info. I'll check and see what the factory prop specs are and go from there. Will only be using the boat @ sea level. Been a long time since I've been down to Pensecola and the panhandle, very nice spot, like it there. Terry

I'm going to buy a backup prop for the BF 135 we are running on our CD 25. I'm really clueless as to what would be a good choice. Should I go with another factory aluminum prop? After market aluminum or ss prop with different pitch? Any suggestions or advise would be appreciated. Terry

Thanks to all who replied to the thread. I went out to the boat and found the problem. It was the double pole breaker on the ac breaker panel. It must have popped when the power in the marina came back online after the outage. Sea Angel, I really like the upgrades you have made. I'll for sure...

Jeff, Thanks! I took a quick look in the starboard cockpit hatch where the batteries are located but didn't look on the hull. I'll go out there tomorrow and check it and the helm/galley throw switch. Thanks again.

There was a wind storm here a couple of weeks ago that knocked the power out at our marina. Yesterday my wife & I went down to the boat and discovered that the shore power is not working. I suspect that when the power came back online there was a surge which may have resulted in a blown fuse or...

We expierienced the same problem with our 2006 25 CD. It was the hot water heater. If you don't use it and the water sits in the tank it develops the sulphur smell. If you aren't going to use it for extened periods of time you have to drain the tank.
