    Freshwater Tank Smell

We have a 2006 25 CD. When we use the water from the freshwater holding tank it smells like rotten eggs/sulphur. It is bad! We don't like to turn it on or use it. We have flushed and refilled the tank 3 times! We have our boat moored at the same marina where we kept our 22' CD. We have only...

Oil Pressure Light - Honda Classic 8

Thanks Gary. I think you are probably on the right track. I did check the oil level and it was full. I'm thinking it's most likely one of the things you mentioned. The only other possibility that I can come up with is a defective oil pump. I have a call into Rick @ C-Dory. I'm hoping I don't...

Oil Pressure Light - Honda Classic 8

Hi All, We have a 2005 Honda Classic 8 for our kicker. It only has about 4 hours on it. This morning we were using it to troll. I noticed that the green oil pressure light was not on. I shut it down and restarted. The light would not come or stay on at trolling speed. As I increase the RPM's it...

Changing Engine & Lower Unit oil

Thanks Gary, i appreciate it. This is the standard method that I've used in the past with my old Johnson motors. I think the BF90 came with a hand pump to pump the new oil in, I'll go over to the boat and try to find it. Thanks again for the advise! Terry

Changing Engine & Lower Unit oil

Hi All, We just hit the 100 hr mark on our 2004 BF90. I want to change both the engine and lower unit oil. The owners manual gives fairly detailed instructions for the engine oil however I couldn't find anything on the lower unit. Has anybody changed their lower unit oil themselves or is this...

I have Scotty electric downriggers mounted on the gunales now and like them just fine. In looking at the 25's I could see...

Hi, I've been looking in the albums trying to see where folks mount their downriggers but haven't been able to see any. It looks like they would have to me mounted aft of the railing? Terry

    Mooring Buoys

Hi, How are you tying off to mooring bouys? We have a 22 Cruiser with the single anchor rope deck cleat mounted on the center of the bow. When tying off to a mooring bouy the line snags on the anchor and roller when the boat spins. I've noticed that most boats have two deck cleats mounted near...

    To all 25' C-dory owners

Hi Joe & Bobbie, I can only address your first question. We bought a 22 Crusier @ the boat show last August. We bought it from the factory not through a dealer. C-Dory threw in some extras for the boat show, anchor, anchor rope & chain, a safety kit which included 4 life jackets, flare kit and...

    New C-Dory 22' Owners

My wife and I went to the Boat Show yesterday and purchased a 22' Cruiser. Jeff Messmer made an attractive offer that we felt compelled to take advantage of. We opted to go with the 90 hp Honda w/ 8hp Honda kicker, hydralic steering, tim yabs, Wallas stove/heater and some other stuff. We are...
