Where do you guys "hide" your anchor lights? Do you remove or lay them down except when required? I don't see them on either of your boats in the photos above.

I love the tremendous amount of information contained within the members of the C-Brats community. Hope I live long enough to contribute some useful tid-bit to someone one day! Back to researching tools that should be carried aboard.

If you don't mind going into Mexico, you might consider going down to Puerto Peñasco translation Rocky Port, or as we Gringos call it Rocky Point. It's on the Gulf of California and offers a much larger body of water to cruise!

Do you have a fairing or windshield?

I use my Samsung Smart Phone for a GPS on my Harley. The mounting bracket was $19.00 on E-Bay. It works great and I can keep it charged with a 12V charger. I have used it on my bicycle too, but can't keep it charged! :)

One of those wouldn't have lasted two seconds at my place this week. I am thankful my house is in tact. My neighbor is having his roof repaired and a BBQ grill came visiting from somewhere in the neighborhood. Yeah, a full size, steel, outdoor grill!

I noticed that the Venture 23' typically has a Rocna (I think) anchor. I first noticed it is on my recently acquired boat and then on "Pacific Wander" by observing photographs. Anyone have opinions of the "new generation" anchors?

I have had good luck with Kleer-Vu for my motorcycle related glass/plastic. I use it for goggles, face shield and windshield. It has good anti-fog properties, which improve with multiple applications over time. http://www.kleervu.com/
