    Honda 75 engine

I've never cruised with a "light boat". I'm always fighting weight in my boat. I want to take everything I own! Heavily loaded I cruise at about 23 - 26 mph. The Gulf seems like it is always choppy so this is a good speed for me.

    Cruising the Gulf Coast

Hopefully you have enjoyed Mississippi's barrier islands. They are truly a unique experience if you want to be alone with nature. God has blessed Mississippi with beautiful natural resources. Happy Easter to all C-Brats. He is risen!!!

An Inquiry into cbrat attitudes towards fuel prices...

I want to join in. At no time would the cost of fuel stop us from using the Delta Belle. We might have to save up $ for a couple of months to get to the barrier islands, but it will be worth the sacrifice. If we have to we will use the kicker @ 3 mph to get there.

    Draining fuel tanks

To DaveS and all C-brats, I am not offended by y'alls comments in any way. This is the friendliest forum or website ever. I have learned so much from all the posts (not just this subject). I love all the "picking" (a Southern thing) that y'all have dished out.

    Draining fuel tanks

Can we all agree that a miracle happened when I was protected from being blown up. Again I publicly proclaim that my Lord Jesus protected me from harm. Thank you C-brats for setting me straight. I will use a smarter method next time.

    Draining fuel tanks

No, not a spoof. I quess from the reaction I was completely a dumb ass for doing what I did. Thank the good Lord for protecting me!

    Draining fuel tanks

I don't know if it is the best way, but I used a shop vac to drain my tanks. I was scared the whole time. I put some water in the shop vac each time I ran it.

    Quick anchor question

Ron, great picture!! It is hard for me, as a Gulf of Mexico person, to comprehend the tremendous tide changes.
