09/21 Lake Powell September 2013 Gathering
Today we anchored on a Sandy beach not far from the Wawheap ..we think its called icecream canyon..sheltered by a big rock wall..perfectly serene until a pontoon of 5 adults and 7 little kids..all under age 7..came to swim..shoot water cannons..sing counting songs..play monsters and just have...- maryvmcclain

We enjoyed hot showers and meals at Wahweap and went to town for another house battery..saw the dam from the road and played tourist..weather forecast for today is nice but the winds are going to kick up again so we are going to find campsites closer to "home" for the next few days.. We had a fantastic 3 nights with the Brats..one at the harbor..two at Oak Canyon but sadly had to return to Waheap marina because if a dead house battery...but it charged up at the marina tonight so we suspect an electrical short.
