We found the annoying buzz/rattle could be eliminated by tweaking and insulating the coils at the rear of the unit. Also, packing it chock full of food seemed to dampen the noises.

Fred, We used to leave Port Angeles on the 8:20 Coho and be in the water for dinner at Port McNeill. Good provisioning in Campbell River near the Marina. Contsct Steve Jackman at North Island Marina in Port McNeill for secure fenced trailer/truck storage.

I think that sometime before your trip, the Sequim fleet should get together with some charts and do some trip planning. I think I have some charts of the area that I'll never use again. I bet Harvey, Sleepy C, would be up for it. Maybe over lunch!

I never had any problem with Bridges or Overpasses. I can verify that 8' radio antennas will be shortened by 3' if left up and you encounter an underpass :oops: The TomCat does sit high on the trailer due to the hulls resting above the fenders.
