    Trailer Value?

7 years, even in covered storage isn't good for tires! Factor that in. Charlie

    May buy new CD 16

Moydav, you'll love the Etec. We've got about 320 hours on our 2005 90 and the maintenance is great! It even fogs itself once you lay it up for a long period of time. Charlie

    Power trim problem

$88 is cheap for anything on a boat, particularly an outboard part. Where did you get the switch an how was the response from the dealer? Charlie

    GPSMap 178C

I use that too but the updates are good for year only. As long as things don't change too much, it's not a problem. The HD Navionics is even more detailed. Charlie

    GPSMap 178C

I've got a 182C somewhere, I'll look and see if there's a data card in it. Charlie

    Trailer rant!

"its the caliper rubbing against the brakes" Peter, do you mean the caliper rubbing against the rotor disc? If so, sounds like the brake pads are worn to where they need to be replaced and the rotor should be scored somehow... :)

    Power trim problem

Brown's Point Marine has them Google it and put in your engine model number. If it happens on both engines, it's likely a stuck switch in the throttles at the helm if you have the switch set to trim both engines together. Had both 115's and 150's on TC255's. Charlie

    Was it Fate?

If you haven't named her yet, how about "MEANT TO BE". Or, in the CDory vein, C-MEANT TO BE. Oh wait, that last one isn't right! Charlie

    TomCat 24 vs. TomCat 255?

Hey Pat, the 255 can go slow too!  But as you said... Each to his own, is a V26 in your future? Charlie

    TomCat 24 vs. TomCat 255?

Big differences in the head as well. The 255 is a lot more "wife friendly". Having had Two 255's, we know! Charlie

    09/20 - Lake Powell 2014 Gathering

Must have been too little to play in the Ryder Cup!  Sounds like a great time, maybe next year.... Now that Jim and the Blonde are without a boat, maybe they'll come stay at our place on the C-Bay and take care of our kitties! :?:  :cat :cat :cat :cat

    Raymarine "drain" wire question

Sunbeam said: "PS: I had a slight puzzlement when I went to strip that tiny wire and, no matter how careful I was (of course the 22 gauge stripper was too large, so I was using a pocket knife) I kept cutting off the whole thing. After a couple of times of that I knew something was up and looked...
