    Honda 135 outboard on a 25'

They were very common. There are many here that had that combo. Someone with hands on experience should chime in.

    Sturgeon!

Nice. 8) I didn’t know they were edible. For some reason I thought one caught them for sport only.

    Galley Storage Ideas

Also I unscrewed the captain’s helm seat and replaced the four bolts with two S/S hinges on the front an rubber furniture feet on the rear. That way when at anchor or dock we can flip it up and have more “counter space”. I use a small nylon strap with a snap on our window frame to stop it from...

    Self bailing - important?

Perfectly understandable. Best of luck to you.

    Self bailing - important?

With the 25 you get WAY MORE than just a self bailing cockpit.

    Galley Storage Ideas

Plastic storage totes currently. Think milk crates. Not perfect but they work and you can pull them out sorta like drawers. Larger ones below.

How to loose a caliper on your trailer disk brake system..

I use silver or gold anti-seize on items like lug nuts, but it is the exact opposite of thread sealer. A little goes a long way. We primarily boat in saltwater, so the anti-seize helps.

How to loose a caliper on your trailer disk brake system..

I’d use red (hi strength) Loctite or similar. Most specs will call for it vs the blue medium strength on brake parts.

    Towing speed (?)

Did the same. Installed 4 Goodyear Endurance tires prior to this trip. I’ve gone thru several “Made in China” tires ;some came with the trailer, some I bought from Les Schwab. I’m going to put the 4 used ones on my car hawler. It does not see many miles. Still need one more Goodyear for the...

    Marine oil vs car oil

Mike, I did the same when the Suzuki was under warranty. I sucked it up and bought the "Suzuki brand" oil. Once the warranty was done, however... Can't blame you with that perty new 200... The one engine I do baby with full synthetic (Shell Rotella T6) is the diesel truck, but only because...

    Towing speed (?)

For the record I only use CC when appropriate, like on long stretches of interstate with open road. I don't use it in tight or windy roads etc nor in traffic, like one has in the Puget Sound region. But from say Cle Elum or Ellensburg to Spokane...with miles and hours of nothing but desert...

    Marine oil vs car oil

I do a complete oil change every spring. It's quick and easy. Originally, I was using "official" Suzuki-brand oil but now I just use a comparable 10w-40 synthetic blend that is much cheaper. We usually don't complete 200 hours per season, as we are still working stiffs (well, at least the...

    Gas and water cap seals

The small ones on our boat are water and waste only. The larger ones I ordered are for gas. From their website:

I removed and repaired the steps. Pics in my album. I and others also removed and replaced the hatches with aftermarket hatches that are much more water resistant. Pics in my album on that too along with the thread below...
