    Navtex and weatherfax

Has anyone been using Navtex/weatherfax? My specific interest is in regard to SE Alaska. My experience in SE Alaska is that VHF weather is very spotty due to the topography (and Internet is even more scarce, as is cell coverage). I've seen Navtex recommended in some older forums, but I've also...

Honda 90 (carb) starting tips needed

Back at the boat...Solenoid works fine, primer bulb needed a couple of pumps to get solid. Now that I realize that the choke control at the helm is only yes/no and I can't play it like a manual choke, I have starting figured out. Thanks for all the help and "case closed."

Honda 90 (carb) starting tips needed

I'm not at the boat right now but will check he fuel bulb next weekend. I do not have the type of remote control that allows disengaging the gear to just work the throttle. I did notice in the manual that the remote choke activates an electronic solenoid. I wonder if that is working. I'll...

Honda 90 (carb) starting tips needed

The engine is a 2007. I'm pretty sure it is a choke and not just an idle lever. The manual says it is also a choke, plus there is also a push/pull choke on the engine itself (it has the choke symbol on it).
