    Raymarine E80 problem

Bob, I had the same problem recently with my Raymarine C-80 system. The culprit ended up being the legs of a folding metal chair under my sink- lying too close to the digital compass.

The Cruising Adventures of Wild Blue and crew...

Jim, Like many others, I really looked forward to your daily postings. For me personally it was the highlight of the forum for the past few weeks. I have family in Florida and have spent quite a bit of time there, and especially love the keys. Most of my time there has been diving or fishing...

    Naming my boat

Tom, I used Prism Graphics on Lake Union and was happy with the results. Can't remember what size letters I used but mine are smaller than most. Search for the thread 'Letter size for Name' and you'll find some more info and pics from others.

    Port and Starboard Cockpit Handrails

I can't imagine feeling safe in my 25 without the cockpit railings. The raised floor (as rogerbum stated), due to the selfbailing cockpit makes the railings essential. In fact when I ordered my boat last year, I had an additional stern railing installed. This idea came from another C-Brat...

    Wallas Exhaust Problem

Jeff, Do you know what the problem is with K-1? When I talked to a Seattle Wallas tech a couple months ago he led me to think it didn't matter whether K-1, Klean Heat, or diesel was used.

    Wallas Exhaust Problem

macmac, Not sure if you are asking me or Flagold. I use Klean Heat which is a product similar to kerosene; but suposedly burns cleaner.

    C-Dory Addiction

Tom and Shannon, WOW! Awesome news. Looks like you mentally made the step up from Lk. Wash to the Sound. It's a great looking boat and I'm sure your going to love it. I was trying to figure out what dealer you were using when I found the third photo in your album. Good move. Is Les going...

    Dagmars Dry Storage ??

Tom, I looked at Dagmars last summer before deciding on Edmonds dry storage. Since I only toured Dagmars, I have limited knowledge of their operations. Here are some of the pros and cons for each (in random order): - Dagmars was a little cheaper, about $175 vs $195 at Edmonds for my boat. -...

    Opinion on Warranty Issues

We got our CD25 last summer from Les on Whidbey as well. My situation is a little different in that I bought without a trailer and keep the boat in dry storage in Edmonds Marina, about 40 miles from the dealer and even further from the factory. Definately not convenient to return to either for...

    Radar Arch Manufacturers

John, Another place that might be worth a call is: Railmakers, in Everett WA (425) 259-9236. They have a design for a CD25 stern rail that I had added to my boat. I assume they probably do radar arches as well.

    A Big Thanks To Les

Since we all seem to giving Les a big group hug... We purchased our CD25 from Les last year, and as I have mentioned several times in prior posts- have been very happy with everything leading up to and following the transaction. However, one other aspect for me that I haven't heard from anyone...

2007 C-Dory 22 Cruiser new molded interior (photos)

30 minutes to figure out that something was interfering with the fluxgate compass. David, you and Merv are making me me feel inadequate. I'm not going to say how long it took me to figure out the same thing. A few phone calls (and maybe a turn of the calendar page) later I discovered that my...

    Ice in Puget Sound

Merv, Yea, it was Sunday. We went up on Saturday afternoon and experienced snow showers most of the way as well.

    It's finally on order!

Doug and Glenda, Congrads on the new boat. I know how just you feel. We got an EQ special like you back in August. In hindsight Les was invaluable in steering me through all the options; there were things I hadn't thought about he talked me into, and others I thought I needed he talked me out...
