It is a ton of work to move it to the bow area...I just did it and it involved much more work than you would think...plus even with me doing all the work it was an expensive modification... Joel SEA3PO

    Vessel Name?

When we worked on a name for our boat...our kids came up with lots of names ....things like C-Tard and C-Nile.... I loved Star Wars...and C3PO was my favorite...next to R2D2 (just could not work that into a boat name)... Joel SEA3PO

    Death Valley Encounter

It is hard to get Butane in volume here in the USA...everything is Propane because Butane has one more carbon molecule than Propane and burns with more smoke......it is not at all rare to see a motorhome with a soot stripe up from the heater exhaust...you know they have been to Mexico where you...

    trim tabs-ZIPWAKE

I have the Bennet Automatic Trim tab Controller and love it... It is one of those things you set once and forget it...always tries to put the boat in the same position as when you originally set it.... so you do hear your trim tab motor running much more...it will easily adjust for people...

    Window/ hatch gasket

I thought it was the O ring seals on the latches...so I took the latches apart and replaced the O rings...easy job.. I found that there is a metric O ring that fits much better than the originals... make sure you use a dab of silicone grease when you install the O rings so they are not...

    Window/ hatch gasket

I thought my gaskets were leaking .... so I put duct tape on the edges where the lid attaches to the frame of the hatch... and found it was not the gasket but it was the seal between the hatch and the deck... I bought a tube of 5200 but then thought... if I use 5200 I will NEVER ever get...

And the 950 cold cranking amps sure is not bad either.... when I did my conversion I oversized everything...the battery cables were 3 sizes larger than Yamaha had supplied.. the runs were long and I did not want to loose amperage... I laughed when I saw that Yamaha battery cables were plain...

    New battery bank questions

I have twin 40 Yamaha motors and they will eat each others voltage regulator if they are hooked to just one battery... Where to go if you had a month……….

You might think about extra fuel...don't know what you have for motors but with my 22' I have only a safe 200 mile range...after that I start sweating I get just a tad over 4 mpg...I would think a 25 would not do anywhere near that, unless they have a BIG fuel tank...or a sail. Joel SEA3PO

    popped rivets soaking hull?

Keith Your water leak is coming thru the screws that go into your handrail on top of the boat....mine has done it several times...somehow the screws seem to loosen up and then you get a drip....I loosen up the handrails then put 5200 where they attach to the roof and tighten the screws...
