I have a Raymarine Auto Pilot on my boat...and when I installed my new Raymarine radar -chart plotter and display... the auto pilot would not work...I found that the auto pilot was analog and the new stuff was digital...Raymarine said I needed a converter but I am tired of Raymarine " everything...

I think I would be perfectly happy with my 22' and an apartment...course I would not have a wife...she would NEVER go for that...I can imagine staying in the cabin for days and days in the rainy season... nope, need the apartment.

I would bet that the company still has the mold for the fiberglass piece...if enough folks asked them ...possibly they would make them available to those that wanted them...it really would not be hard to make a mold from an existing piece... Joel SEA3PO

Even earlier boats had a fiberglass cover that not only looks good but is a proper way to cover the wiring...wonder why the company does not make that panel anymore.? JMR-TOO has a 2003 boat and has the canvas and I have a 2003 and I have the panel...so I guess that is when they quit making...

ALL of the electrical wiring will need ro be replaced... I once bought a boat that had sunk in fresh water....it had terrible shorts in the wiring all the time I owned it...needed a total rewire.. Joel SEA3PO

Yes, That is what I would do...They must have access to some or buy them in bulk... I had inside rails made to match the spacing on the outside rails ...that way there are no extra holes...works fine...and sometimes you need rails to grab onto in heavy seas... Joel SEA3PO

I had a leak at the shaft...and it made a mess...I ordered the seal kit from West Marine and it was a simple repair..but I worried that it might not be a 100% repair....it was a big mess and the repair only took minutes... I don't like to worry so I just replaced it with a heavier duty Seastar...

If it was me...I would look at a Mokie kayak... I dislike those water lice (as fisherman call them) Jetski noise makers... The Mokie is so kool... has all the neatness of a kayak and you don't have to paddle... goes in super thin water and can be carried inside a Prius...so it easily will...
