Has anyone checked with the factory to see if they would like to sponsor a dinner...or even send us hats or shirts... remember the year the old company took us to dinner...gave us all hats...and nice jackets....one year it was dinner and nice vests...not the cheep stuff either... Anyone...

I really do not like the parking area at MDR...We have had trucks broken into and tickets...it is not a safe place (I think) to park... I am planning on launching at Channel Islands and motoring over...takes a few hours but it is a nice ride and I don't know of anyone having parking problems at...

Yes, we are invisible to them except they use the heck out of us for advertising...and they really benefit from that...so I don't feel any loyalty to them....the Seasport boats are so different than our boats...I fear we will become one of those "any boat" clubs...and loose our identity heck...

Yes, I have a tiny tug. 22'... it was built by Seahorse in 1980... originally it had a 2 cylinder Yanmar diesel (like a ranger tug) I use the tug in my diving business and upgraded to a 3 cylinder diesel...(30 hp).... Joel SEA3PO KEA (the tug)

This is not a dirty old motor....it is a Yanmar 30 hp 3 cylinder...only has 200 hours on it....nice motor...clean... Joel

I ruined the 3 cylinder diesel engine on my tug... and bought another from Craig's List....I really hate to drive up there to pick it up...I would love to pay someone $500 to haul it down to somewhere like Red Bluff (on Interstate 5) ... It is on Orcas Island now but the owner says he often...

You would really think such a high end, expensive product would put a teflon coating on the threads or at least use something to prevent corrosion.

I hated that lean....so I moved the batteries out of the back and mounted them under the V-Berth....what I did was move the porta pot forward and put in a bulkhead in back of it.....worked super...but I would not do it again...it was a pain in the rear...plus LOTS of marine quality battery...

One of the reasons I have two is not because of clogging but water in the fuel.....the filters are good water separators and it is nice to switch while draining the other...I have purchased fuel with water in it several times ....a pain to deal with... Joel SEA3PO

Just go to West Marine...they carry Racor and also a cheaper brand....you can buy filters online too... what I don't like about them is that they rust on the outside rim...a filter that expensive should not rust. I use 2 Racor filters...one for each tank...I am trying to keep everything...
