Growl, growl...and growl
While we are in Petaluma, The Balch family would like to invite us all to "Balch Castle" for dinner at da Mansion. Hopefully you'all will get to meet my pal Tom...and get the tour....

I think this is a great idea... We had a hard time deciding between a 22' or a 25'....Having the ability to rent a boat for a week sure would have helped us make our decision.
Super Dealer too..

They do make great anchors...a single block 3x3x3 is plenty for a mooring buoy
if you go to some scrap yard they will have all sorts of junk that use can use inside the block to lock the ring into the cement...the double blocks are so heavy they require much more effort to handle... yes they...
When I am working log booms, I need a really heavy anchor, one that will dig in.... so I use half of a railroad wheel set.... they cut the solid axle of the set in half and weld a strap over that end cut...it looks like a huge mushroom anchor... it costs $300 and you can get them at the...
I own a Diving and Salvage operation and I install anchors all the time....What ya do is.....Go to the cement plant...and they will usually give you a monster block .... a half block is 3X3X3...a cubic yard of cement...a full block is 3x6x3...you might have to take them a large ring to make your...
Bearings should last a long, long, long time if adjusted correctly...I have some 1931 bearings on my Model A...original.... Yes marine environment is severe but with marine grease and a good adjustment they will outlast the trailer.
I assume you started with the blue (marine) bearing grease..... but more than likely the bearings were installed too loose....too tight is not as bad as too loose... it really tears up the bearings... really fast... to get the bearing spot on is a good trick... somehow it never lines up with...
I live in Camarillo and would be happy to sit down you and tell you all about the boats...I have a 22' that I keep at my home in Camarillo... I really do not think you want a 16' boat in our water...it gets really rough out there....
Give me a call and we can get together.
Joel Rapose...
My boat came with some sort of automatic bilge pump that was wired directly to the batteries...it cycled... checked the water every 10 minutes or so, then would go off...I did not know... it drained my batteries when the boat was in storage... I dumped the pump and installed a regular bilge pump...
I know that if I were buying a boat with bad electronics would insist on a deep reduction in price.... it's like buying a car with a broken engine... When someone tells me it is in excellent condition, I don't expect broken electronics.
May be cheaper for you to just replace the stuff so the...
Sea Wolf Joe is exactly right... If the fuel you are buying is less than 10% ethanol the manufacturer does not need to tell you that it has ethanol in the fuel... It is only when the percentage goes above 10% that law requires they tell you..... so the fuel you are buying may have a ton of...
I just got a gracious e-mail from the seller......not at all what I would have said... possibly I was too quick to be judgemental ....

Resident asshole
Not my problem... but that sounds a bit rich for a 29 year old boat...
I find it real interesting that many of the "For Sale" advertisements are from folks that joined a day or two ago....Where ya been ?
Don't worry about me...I won't be calling to "Dicker"

I am sure I have cured my Starboard lean when next to the dock...(common with the 22' ) but, I have not have a chance to test it in the water....I am doing other projects...things like carpeting the trailer bunks and fixing chips and scrapes in the gel coat... Today I am going to try to find...
Jay is correct... also, you are going to find that your AGM batteries are heavier than your lead/acid batteries...I went from 80# to just over 100#...I did size up to the next larger batteries though... to counteract the amperage loss in the long cables...which I sized up 2 sizes....
I think...
