I just finished replacing the outer rubber seals on the rear of cabin windows.
To Standas- I wanted to let you know the part number for Steele rubber product was a smaller trim size than I expected so I went with the part from the Diamond sea glaze co, or Advantec now. It was probably much...
Standas, I got the sample from Steele rubber products, it was much narrower than what I expected , probably by 50 percent. I'm now asking for a sample from diamond sea glaze part WD5, so will see what they send. Stay tuned.
Welcome to landing in NC , there’s plenty of water to explore nearby when things return to normal you will be ready. We met at the last Hontoon gathering and it was a treat to hear of your adventures.
I know the part number for diamond sea glaze, but can someone get me the part number for Steele rubber products? I’m very close to them and would save a ton on shipping cost , assuming quality is the same.
I put the older rule 500 there, its model 25s, the newer version 25SA has check valve built in. Just Fyi
Keep in mind when you go from the 25s to the 25sa the bases are NOT interchangeable so be thinking about an adhesive that's forgiving.
I agree on the WM chair having the bolts fall out. Every few weeks I'd see see new bolt or nut lying on floor, and just keep replacing them with proper locking nuts as they fall out. Buy ONSALE
I am fortunate enough to have a Shell non ethanol pump 2 miles from the boat. It used to be 93 oct several yrs ago, but now 90 octane. My boat has never sipped anything else thankfully 😎😜
I plan on making my first gathering at this event. I'm leaving the boat at home until I figure out the logistics for the next time. FYI Hontoon resort is all booked due to some college rowing teams training there.
Can't wait to experience this get together.
