We chose Bose unit because of 8 hr battery life,and great sound quality.we. Just use our phone and pandora,or I tunes. We are on battery pwr when we leave the dock,so battery life is key. :idea :hug2

I got steiners over 10 yrs ago and they are ALWAYS on boats with exposure to moisture etc. never a problem.

I like the keel guard if you are installing on a slick new gel coat hull. If you have to deal with Prepping a previously bottom coated hull,then it's another story. I like the protection if you beach often.Some people even report added fuel economy due to breaking up hydraulic suction I guess.
