I drilled a hole for the anchor locker drain thru the hull on the port side at the bottom of the anchor locker and it appeared to be solid fiberglass, i.e. no balsa wood core in that location. Is this something that is different than the older boats?

I installed the 4212 with 4kw radome, GSD 22 sounder, and XM weather receiver. So far I am really happy with it, although I played with one of the 5212 touch screen units in the store and the interface on those seems a little faster and easier to use.

We just bought a new 22 cruiser from Old Lyme Marina and would love to go but can probably only go for the weekend. Still have not even had the boat in the water but hopefully it will be ready to go in a couple of weeks.
