I know the Joe And Ruth of R-Matey had a Tacoma that pulled thier C-Dory. They had a CD22 before they got the CD19 but not sure if the Tacoma the CD22 or the CD19. Hopefully they will enlighten us. We pulled our first CD22 with a 2000 Dodge Dakota 4X4 with the V-8 it it did great. Pics of that...

Welcome Matt & Joyce, I'd like to address a couple of the other questions you have about the CD25. You can beach the CD25 just fine. We beach ours when we go to Lake Powell(as in the trip in a couple weeks ). You just have to take the usual precautions as beaching any boat, i.e. water level...

I had a feeling that there was going to be an upsurge interest in our C-Dory's for the Dealers and the C-Brat's site generated from the cover shot and Halcyon article. That was why I wanted to give kudos to Boat U.S. and the Stars . That was just good pub for all of us .

Just got the Boat U.S magazine and right there on the cover is Chris of Rana Verde at Lake Powell. On the inside of the magazine is a great article on our own El & Bill of Halcyon. A C-Dory C-Brat double-header... way to go!

Kudos to you David and Pat for getting out the tools on this project. I used my chainsaw oops , I mean my laser-guided sabre saw cutting ours out . I went through 2 blades on it, just as you used 2 cutters on yours. It was tought stuff, but well worth the effort. The results are as you say...

We were at Bremerton Marina with Totem Y. C. this weekend. I returned from shore with our dogs and everyone asked me if I knew the C-Dory that cruised through. They said it had a colorful dinghy on top and asked me if it was one of those Portland Pudgy things. Well that narrowed the field down...

I don't have a dog in this deal , but if I bought that boat from Les , I would could sleep very well knowing that I did good. also I wished I had the bucks to buy #8, it is only one of two orginals I know of, and looks better than new.

David, your title for this thread is really good , but I felt the need to reiterate(not regurgitate) ,that Snoqualmie Falls Brew is THE official Christening Beverage of C-Brats, and as long as Rev. Dave and I do Christenings it will remain so.

Replaced the cable on our powerwinch with the strap from our manual winch. The cable was a pain in the donkey, but did have to trim some off the strap so it would fit on the winch drum.

We are members of RBAW and the Northwestern Boating Council(NBC), and both are great. The costs are low ,and using the discounts from the merchants that support them ,it pays to belong. NBC is the one that raised money from several boat clubs to install a flagpole at Blake Island State Park...
