I read somewhere that a boat should have a minimum length of chain equal to one and a half times the length of the boat. So for my 22 I opted for 50' of chain, allowing me to get more rode into the anchor locker and less weight in the bow. I must add, I did not have a windlass and pulling up...

What would an insurance company do when looking for a loophole to avoid a payout on a claim? Oh, you have a combined hp of a 140. The manufacturer upper limit on hp is much less for a 22. Claim denied. So beware. Martin.

I made a kicker bracket on the side gunnel by the door. The bracket is tied into the horizontal storeage bin and the bottom is supported by the foot step. The kicker is inside the boat, out of the way but easy to get to. I copied this idea from another boat. Unfortunately I can not find any...
