You may be better off looking for separate "real" heater / furnace and cooktop units. The Wallas is merely an OK cooktop or heater (IMHO - search the site for Wallas and you'll get a ton of opinions) even when its working well. I think you'd ultimately be happier with an Espar / Wabasto air...

The A1 teardrop is 11.5" diameter, the A2 is 15.5". I think the one in the photo above is at least that size, and maybe even an A3 at 18.5". I'm not near my boat but if anyone can verify the opening on the CD22 windows (same as the CD25?) I'd appreciate it.

Yes - that would be my intention - I am finding that I'm coming in at a steeper approach angle than I am used to with my other boats and that a fender off the midships cleat (or cabin handrail) isn't quite forward enough. But it's not clear to me how to deploy (and retrieve) this fender...

How do you manage this fender for docking? It looks like the line comes off of a bow cleat - so I'm guessing that you either go forward on the side deck or possibly up through the bow hatch. I'd really like to get a teardrop in that location but I'm often single-handed so I'm reluctant to use...
