If the water is "underfoot" in the cockpit, then that's because it's the lowest point in the boat (at that time, with that trim, etc). So if you raise the area that's puddling, the water will be just as likely to go _forward_ as aft. You might consider modifications that make the stern heavier...

I good list there, except I hugely prefer gaffers tape (no residue) over duct tape. I don't have Rescue Tape brand, but wouldn't go anywhere without a couple roles of elastomeric / self-amalgamating / self-fusing tape, particularly if there was any critical plumbing. I also carry a role of Lord...

I recently switched out the stock seat for a Cabela's seat, and I'm now thinking I'll rebuild the stock seat and put it back in. The dimensions you have to work with are surprisingly tight. A few random thoughts: I'm not sure an armrest is going to work with the engine controls in the stock...

Actually, I was planning to use a jigsaw for the opening, and using larger hatches (30" long per starcrafttom), but I can see that if you use smaller hatches it would be difficult to maneuver.

Right, and with _Height 6' 3"_ I think it has an interior headroom of around 5'6" or mayb 5'8". Which is standing headroom for some. I'm 6' and as I recall I can't stand upright, though I had a 17 Sea Ranger with a skip tower that I could easily stand under.

I'm pretty sure that the Arima does not have standing headroom in the cabin (it would with the skip tower, but then it wouldn't be a "pilothouse").

I have Boat US's "Unlimited Gold" towing. Since it goes with me when I'm on my trawler in the PNW, RIB on the lake, and now my CD wherever I take it, I think it's a pretty fair deal.
