Thanks for the additional info, Don. I have an 86 Angler with an 87 Johnson. It's still running great, but I always have half an eye open for a good deal on something similar, but with a more recent motor upgrade. Good luck!

I have a similar question: what do you do with the motor when you're on an extended cruise and can't flush it out each time you dock or anchor? Is it better to leave in immersed or pull it up?
