I’ve had some very close calls with sea planes in SE Alaska & have learned to be very watchful when coming into any of the docks around the small towns, especially when visibility is poor.

Colby, I hope to do just that, I hear you on the 7am, as I enjoy that sleeping in thing too, but I’ve found often with these flat bottomed boats up here you pay the earlier price or double when wind & tide gets you later. We are in Sitka now & for sure will be sleeping in tomarrow. Jay

Yes, short walk through most likely waste high or deeper muddy ooze. Remember that little bay in from where we found our Kaboats at all different angles on the rocks, when returning from the hot springs. I got in that mud years ago & about didn’t get out. It does make for a good anchor set.
