    06/03 - 06/05 Eastern Shore, Maryland gathering

Ok, guess a map of the area would help...I've posted an area map to my photoalbum, and would be happy to e-mail it to anyone who needs it: http://www.c-brats.com/modules.php?set_albumName=Lizzie-Ann&id=AreaMap&op=modload&name=gallery&file=index&include=view_photo.php. Will do a better one...

    06/03 - 06/05 Eastern Shore, Maryland gathering

Hi Steve, Great to hear that you may join us, especially on your anniversary. Here’s some info that may help with your inquiries, including some web links. First, the two major towns closest to our get-together are Rock Hall and Chestertown, both in Kent County. Since I live in Chestertown...

Have never tried these adapters, but have always been curious as to how they'd work.... http://lindelectronics.com/cgi-bin/Stor ... /(overture)

    Best Laptop

You'll probably get lots of different opinions on this, but I've used laptops on lots of small boats over the years, and few of them were the "ruggedized" marine versions. I'll probably jinx myself by saying this, but I've never had any problems with the off-the-shelf machines. Ok, I take that...

    NavMan GPS for laptop

The Raymarine C80 is my normal plotter/nav setup, but I also have a laptop with Maptech Marine Navigator - it's terrific software. I usually use it with some other software for surveying, and wired a separate GPS feed out of the C80 for the laptop. When not in use, the cable is coiled up...

    Wallas Fuel

Tom, the Home Depots in Easton and Annapolis had it...it's seasonal, so you're unlikely to find it over the summer. I'd call them before making the run - don't know when they stop stocking or run out. If you can't find it, I can let you have some. John

    06/03 - 06/05 Eastern Shore, Maryland gathering

You folks are making this tough on me, now, with all this talk of an after-get-together cruise. I have to teach all that week and you actually have me contemplating a post-ponement. Just wishful thinking, though, as I can't wiggle out of it. However, if your itinerary finds you out and about...

    06/03 - 06/05 Eastern Shore, Maryland gathering

OK, I should read more carefully. Now I see you were asking about the screen name, not vessel name...(all that stuff about Sally's Sister got me confused)...I don't know how to change that!

Tom, I think you can just log in, go to "profile," and then scroll down to the block where your vessel name is - either fill it in, or delete what's in there and replace. Good meeting on Saturday! We're gonna have fun!
