When I bought my boat used the owner had used that compartment for cleaning supplies. I use it to store my sea anchor but plan to plumb it as an additional live well and use it as fish storage for Salmon trips.

Mine never lasts long enough to worry about shelf life. The last batch must have been over 20 pounds and it was gone in a week.

I had similar experienced with Furuno when I took in my plotter/sounder. I need to take in my spare radar now to have it looked at. Sooner or later I am gomma get me one of their Navnet systems. You just can't beat the service...

You should fish off both and spend time talking to owners. After that the deciding will be easy. I was really impressed with Sea Sports until I tried to fish on one. I am glad I did.

Replace the fuel filters on each motor and try running fresh fuel from a portable tank. Remove the fuel line from each motor and use the prime bulb to pump fuel into a glass container. Not sure about all the Imac stuff but I am still waiting for those pics of the storage shelter on the trailer.... It seems mine spends far too much time sitting and not near enough time on the water.
