    Opinions please

Would like to know peoples opinions on average hub temps while towing, both highway and stop and go. I have tandem axle with hydraulic disc brakes on oil bath hubs all four wheels. Getting a reading of about 10 degrees differance between high and low. Thanks all.

    Fishing in Masset BC.

Dan I just google earthed Masset BC and it looks like there is two set ups there. One dock with two fingers with individual slips, but not many of them. And another dock with two long fingers with a lot of boats rafted up.

    Trolling speed 150 Yamaha

Harvey I may be wrong, but GPS speed and direction are done by triangulation of satellites in orbit around the earth and there for not effected by currents or wind. I do find that sometimes if I am not moving fast enough my indicated direction will bounce around, but speed has always remained...

    Trolling speed 150 Yamaha

You should not have any problems running your motor for extended periods of time like that. Also if you want to get your speed down even more you can do what I used to do when fishing for sockeye in Lake Washington , drag a 5 gallon bucket behind your boat. Cheap way of dropping a couple of mph

    King Canvas Camper top- opinions?

Am happy with the canvas they made for my boat, yes there are some things I would have liked done different, but I can live with it as is. As far as customer service, they came to the job I was working on at the time and picked my boat up and than dropped it off after they were done. Can't beat...

    hooking up outboard kicker questions

I use the stainless steel connecting rod set up also, simple and effective. The Troll master throttle control is fine. Used one for many years, no problems. The only thing I would recommend on the Troll master is to swap the gears in the servo with metal gears. You can get metal gears at any...

Help wiring a new kicker with electric start and alternator

Ian I have the same kicker, great motor by the way, on my 6th year and countless hours trolling for salmon, zero problems. Starts and runs just like the day I bought it. Dont worry a bit about running both at the same time.

    Pot heads and C-Dory?

Just for the fun of it I went back to the original post and clicked on the offending lick. After watching the title banner cycle 5 full times the picture with the C-Dory no longer comes up. Guess it is time for me to burn a "fat one" and celebrate the fact that this thread has run its course.

    Pot heads and C-Dory?

Come on Foggy those guys are drawing in more crap in their lungs by breathing the diesel exhaust back draft from the charter boat engine in the half hour or so run to the dive site than what they are getting from a couple of hits off of a joint. I do agree about not risking your boat or business...

    Snipers are Cowards?

I remember from my 7th grade american history class that the British thought that the American soldiers that fought for our independence were cowards for the way they that fought. That anyone that took cover behind a rock or tree was a coward sniper. But this was a time in history when they...
