I've never seen this on a tomcat but this one has props that rotate outwards! I wonder how it performs. Also the biggest engines i've seen on a Tomcat.

on my tomcat the rivet backs aren't accessible. I figure those lag bolts will hold forever, especially considering i butter them up with 5200. I don't know why builders insist on rivets that only last a bit over a decade.

is there room on the heater for two elements?

i've never been able to get the old rivet bodies out. I've tried to drill them but they just spin around. I replace them with lag bolts. It works.

They're all about the same price as what Garmin is offering on their website. As that's the case i'll cut out the middle man. Maybe there will be some labor day sales

perhaps i'm being overcautious, but i'm concerned about where the gas vapors go when that vent is moved. Those vapors are heavier than air and settle as low as they can, so having them outboard is good as it alleviates the possibility of those vapors settling in the cockpit...probably not a...

I ditched my permatrims on my tomcat. I don't notice much of a difference. I'd be interested in adding a foil wing between the hulls aft to create lift....if there was such a thing off the shelf.
