What a great, great weekend. Thanks, Barry and Patty for being such gracious hosts and for charming the sun. :) We so enjoyed getting to know everyone. Jon: so it turns out Gypsy River must have been a bad influence on Caiprianha. She decided to run 3ft rapids off the West side of Camano this...

    05/18 - 05/20 - 2012 Friday Harbor CBGT

So, being newbies with a grand 12 hours under our belt, we were looking at the Puget Sound marine forecast and thinking it could be out of our skill zone. But Tom kindly rang me to explain the difference w/ west vs east side of Whidbey. Given that we are planning to go thru La Conner and around...

    05/18 - 05/20 - 2012 Friday Harbor CBGT

Hi Barry: Watching the forecast and predicted wave heights, we fear we may have to come by ferry. If that's the case, is there a gate code we should use to get down to the dock? Looking foward to seeing you all this weekend.

    “PERMATRIM”

Hi Ron: We're new 19ft owners and debated permatrim as well. We have Bennett trim tabs, but felt like we had to use th tabs to an extreme to keep the boat from porpoising. Robbi and DaNag are spot-on about the additional control that permatrim offers on the 19 ft. We've noticed that we can...

Wondering if we could follow anyone up from Everett / Everett area? This will be our first longer distance trip. Cross fingers for great weather...

SO WHAT DID YOU DO WITH OR ON YOUR C-DORY TODAY??

Finally got Caiprianha seaworthy and ventured for a short spin outside Everett Harbor. Much to learn, but a stellar day for our first solo cruise on Puget Sound.

    C-dory Transporting

Hey Cory: Thanks again for getting our boat safely out to the PNW. You are a gem to deal with...great communication and service. We never knew where you'd be when we spoke by phone...Flathead Lake, CT, FL, AZ...our heads spin with the schedule you keep. But our baby arrived safe and sound and...

    2004 25' Cruiser

We were at Bayside Marine yesterday and noticed this 25 is still for sale. Looks like a decent price for anyone in the market.

We look forward to joining the fun! Should be able to take our new baby out on a couple of sea trials by then before braving a cruise to Friday Harbor. Barry: If your offer for a CGAux safety inspection is still open, we'd love to take you up on it. And hey all: Can we enlist your help to...

Merits / pitfalls of folding radar arch

Good point about protecting the wires. Seems to me the dome could easily get damaged if lowered during transit. I was thinking it'd be handy simply for storage.

Merits / pitfalls of folding radar arch

Hi All: We just registered our boat this weekend and are now "official" c-brats. Can't wait to get on the water. :) We're going to have a radar arch made so that we can slide a dinghy underneath. We like the concept of a folding arch that would give us storage flexibility. Just wondering...

    01/27 - 01/29 - Seattle boat show and C-Brat Gathering

[Hi Amy and Paul, My inflatable is a Bombard AX 1, made by Zodiac. It is 6' 7" long, 3' 9" wide, and weighs 44 lbs. Piece of cake to throw up on the roof. It has the slatted floor. Is good for 2 adults, or 1 adult and a couple of kids. Also small outboard compatible. I like it. I paid $1,000...

    01/27 - 01/29 - Seattle boat show and C-Brat Gathering

If anyone is in need of 2 boat show tickets, please let us know...we'll have them with us at the potluck tonight. On a separate note, we were wondering if someone knows what the dimensions of the top of a 19ft Angler are? We plan to install a high radar arch and would like to slip a tender...

    01/27 - 01/29 - Seattle boat show and C-Brat Gathering

We sure hope you can make it, Dave. We really enjoyed meeting at Bellingham last summer and were looking forward to seeing you again. We can commiserate about the power issue. We got ours back on Sunday, only to discover that our 30+ year-old-furnace did not revive. Looking forward to finally...

Looking forward to seeing those of you we met in Bellingham last summer and meeting other C-brats. Please keep us posted on time/place for the Saturday potluck. Will it be at the Larkspur motel? Craig & Julie: we're new C-Dory owners, too. A 19-ft Angler that we brought out from Flathead Lake...
