Well, I ordered a D40 and the 18-200mm VR lens. Can't wait. It should be worth the premium for the lens just so I don't have to do any switching.

According to the toyota website the 08 models have a 9100lb tow rating. Should be plenty for the 22'. Not sure if there's different trim levels or model years with a lower rating or not but that is plenty.

This is on an 04' motor? What the heck happened? Are the lines cracking or something?

If all else fails you could let the motor lift itself. Just start it up, flip the lever that locks it down and put the motor in reverse, turn the throttle until the motor is up enough to finish the job manually. Not sure how safe this is though.

Very strange problem you have. How does the connection at the battery look? Any corrosion or anything loose? I spray my battery posts and bus bars with corrosion x and they stay good as new. More likely a problem with the unit itself though.

My guess is you would be happier with the 25' based on what you described about yourself. It's certainly doable on a 22' no doubt, however I think you will find it more "work".
