You can vacuum pack it, will last a long time. DO NOT FREEZE> it degrades quite fast. C-Otter. Edit: What I ment to say is do not freeze it if it is not vacuum packed. Than it will degrade fast.

I wouldn't drill into the hull, very thin. I would say that when they put the top on they did not use enough epoxey on that one area. I would do as KATKT suggested and not worry about it. It should be a natural seam and not a crack in the fiberglass. C-Otter

I coated my Decraguard with SIKKENS Cetol 23 Plus 078 Natural, still looks like new. Same with the Teak handrail. C-Otter

20 years on my C-Dory and the cleats are still their and not a Gel-Coat crack in the entire boat. I'd buy another one in a heart beat. C-Otter.

My 1985 Angler has glassed in runners. Also it is my understanding that in the early Classic the only balsa coring is in the transon. The bottom is 1!/4 inch resin impregnated plywood. This come from the dealer who sold the boat in 1985. Of course it's covered with fiberglass. Jack on C-Otter.

Maybe we should manually inflate them to be sure they fit? Take a swim so you know what to expect and maybe check for leaks? C-Otter.

Andy. What kind of helm seat do you have? Looks like it may take the jolt away in heavy seas or chop. My wife has orders to bury me in my Classic, or not to sell it for less than $20 grand. My wifes brother-in -law has is eye on it, have to watch what I drink at his house. C-Otter

I have the roller on my 1985 Classic Easy Loader, came with the boat and still works good today. Fresh water of course. I think it was standred equip. on the early trailers. C-Otter.

Print out a copy of C-Dory's for sale on this site and have the banker compare to NAPA. Get a letter from a C-Dory dealer with the true price of a 94 C-Dory. Jack on C-Otter.

Moose: I believe bonding is for lighting protection. All metal parts on my sailboat including the mast were wired to a ground plate. Don't know if you need to due that on a small powerboat. Jack on C-Otter.
