    Les Lampman Passed Away

I'd like to attach a recent picture of him and his wife, but will have to do a bit of research on how to do it.[/img]

    Les Lampman Passed Away

Just received this sad news from Les' wife, Bing, in the Philippines. Les worked at EQ Marine for many years in sales, he helped me and many others outfit or ask questions about their C-Dorys whether or not we bought them at EQ or not. A very giving person to all. We have been in constant email...

18th Annual Delta and Bay Extravaganza

Kent, sorry to hear about your knee (and back problems earlier) that somehow cause schedule issues right around the Delta trip every year. Like Jim said, it'd be real nice if you could make Catalina later this year. We're all getting older. And if someone tells others he/she is feeling better...

    17th Annual Catalina Off-Shore Adventure

Jim, Please sign me up for this one also. Right here in my back yard. Steve

18th Annual Delta and Bay Extravaganza

Please sign me up. Always enjoy the trip and camaraderie, never two trips alike. I will have to check on the crew for the final count and get back. Steve

17th Annual Delta and Bay Extravaganza for 2019

Jim, Alex and I will most likely be the crew of Dora Jean this trip. We discussed and decided that we'd prefer to go after those elusive stripers once again this year. So we won't be doing the sturgeon trip, although it sounds like a real educational opportunity.

propellers for 25 c-dory with twin 90 hondas

I have 13.5"D x 15"P aluminum 3-blade props on my CD25 with twin Yami 80's, they're essentially perfect for the various loads I carry. I think i could go with 16"P, but not 17's with same diameter. You need to hear from those with your same engine setup. Hope this helps.

Roger, are you planning to stay at Rio Vista Monday night, then boat to Old Town Tuesday and night?

17th Annual Delta and Bay Extravaganza for 2019

Jim, Please sign 2 of us up for the fishing trip. And we'll bring the Potato Salad for the dinner. Will send check ASAP. Been busy at work and home, just read this site this morning -- my priorities are all screwed up (as usual). Joel, tell Susan our prayers are with her, she is strong, she...

17th Annual Delta and Bay Extravaganza for 2019

Sign me up, and thanks for pulling this event together once again. I'm happy with the change from Petaluma, even though I'll miss our usual visit with Joel's friends in town. Good choice to spend more time in S.F. There's a possibility I'll arrive early as well and try to visit other areas...

    17th Annual Catalina Offshore Adventure

I wish I could lead it, but this particular year I'm on a hi-pri Gov't project at work, my schedule really isn't my own. A month ago I was scheduled for another 1 week trip starting 23 July, I knew it was a soft date. Last week changed to 30 July. Next week...who knows. I'd hate to lead an event...

    16th Annual Delta/Bay Extravaganza

Great news all around. And John, thanks for the Napa and Vallejo Yacht Club info. Sounds like we'll have some adventures this trip, always up for new things to see and do. Thanks again. We'll go where the group goes.

Condensation Problem in a 22 Cruiser.

Regarding keeping the side windows cracked a bit at night, or even during a rainy day with a lot of people in the boat while running. I read on this site 10+ years ago about a plastic, rounded deflector that could be fitted on the leading edge of the slanted side window frames to allow the...

    Delta get together

I'll be putting in at Rio Vista Tuesday late afternoon along with some others. The rest on Wednesday morning, we leave Rio Vista at noon. This is the best time to do your window shopping, during these kinds of events, so come on down!

    16th Annual Delta/Bay Extravaganza

Jim, John and Laurie, great news on being able to use the Vallejo yacht club, change of pace and scenery is always a delight, thanks! Kent, we'll miss you, always looking forward to spending some time with you folks. Hope your surgery goes well and you heal fast, at least at a normal pace. Hey...

    16th Annual Delta/Bay Extravaganza

I know I don't require 10.5 ft of clearance, maybe 7 ft (waterline to top of radar dome), I'll have to measure tomorrow. I wasn't able to find Benecia's phone number quickly today, found it tonight though, so will give them a call tomorrow. I did call Martinez Marina right across from them...

    16th Annual Delta/Bay Extravaganza

Just a suggestion, we stayed at Benecia 1 night several years ago during that big storm. It was wonderful and a short walk to the center of town. It could be an alternative to right after Wheeler Island, then onto Petaluma. I can call and see if 10 boats could be accommodated, just to see.

    Appoximate towing weight of a C-Dory 25

That light boat weight by the factory sounds like it is w/o engine(s), no gas, water, batteries, anchors, etc, kinda like Boris on Journey On put it. I'm probably the oddball in the group. My 2003 C-Dory Cruiser appears to be lighter than most, it is s/n 007 (3rd of the newer style since 1996)...

    16th Annual Delta/Bay Extravaganza

Wow, I also can't believe it's the 16th extravaganza. It's a pretty heavy-duty trip from/to SoCal, seems 'something' happens on the highway nearly every trip, but it's so worth it. Who said they hope the weather isn't so wet and tamer, was that you Colby(?), ha, last year might have been our...
